The Andrew L. Bouwhuis is not responsible for personal items left in the library by patrons. We cannot guarantee the item you lost will be found. When an item is left in the library by a patron, we will make a reasonable attempt to return lost items to their original owners.
The Library will keep lost items until the Library closes each night Sunday through Thursday. Upon closing, most of the items will be turned into Public Safety. The items that Public Safety will take with them are:
All other items will be kept at the library for one month. We will donate all unclaimed items.
Should an item be found on a Friday or Saturday, the item will be turned over to Public Safety the following Sunday upon closing.
